The course is very comprehensive and is 4 hours. Many topics are covered such as: Advertising, Tenant Screening & Selection, the Rental Application process, Security Deposits, Tenant At Will vs. Leases, Occupancy Permits, Dispute Resolution, Evictions, Discrimination, Lead Paint Compliance, Energy Conservation Programs, etc. You will gain an understanding of the steps and process involved from advertising the apartment to the eviction process. The course fee includes a CD which includes: Rental applications, leases, tenancy at will forms, Security Deposit, 14 and 30 day notice forms, Tenant Lead Law Notification, Statement of condition and many other helpful forms to get started on the right foot. In addition, the instructor provides 3 pages of valuable links to important websites for further education as a landlord and 12 PDF's that will provide meaningful resources of information.
