About Us:

The Massachusetts Nonprofit Housing Association (MNPHA) consists of nine regional nonprofit housing agencies, all organized as charitable, nonprofit, community based, public purpose agencies. These agencies are actively involved in collaborative efforts with an array of service providers to assist families across the state. Between them, they serve every city and town in Massachusetts.

The regional nonprofit housing agencies have established a strong statewide network and capacity for service delivery. Each agency provides a variety of services such as affordable housing development, housing rehabilitation, homeless services, homebuyer training programs, rental assistance, rental property owner training, property management for affordable housing units, and housing technical assistance to local communities, housing authorities, and other nonprofit agencies.

MNPHA groups deliver housing assistance in many settings from the biggest cities to the most rural parts of the state. Programs offered by each member vary with regional needs, but all share common goals: to provide affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families and individuals, while maximizing geographic choice and access to services.
