The Cape Cod Cooperative Extension in Barnstable County educates the public on issues from water quality, to hazardous waste disposal and recycling.

City of Malden water pipe de-leading services & grants:

The City of Malden through its Engineering/Planning/Waterworks Department is making a comprehensive effort to reach out to all Malden homeowners to encourage them to replace the private lead water service line at their property. More than 10 percent of water samples taken in Malden have exceeded the action level for lead of 15 parts per billion. Additionally this new website also has information on general lead abatement programs and funding help.
