"Project Connect " now "Springwire"
This program connects people in crisis with the social services and support networks that surround them – expanding a community’s capacity to care. By providing free access to tailored communication tools, Springwire restores a sense of hope and dignity, enabling people in transition to stabilize their lives and get access to the help they need to move out of crisis. This program empowers participants to communicate with the right resources, no matter their personal situation, Springwire reduces the isolation of homelessness, allowing people to re-integrate into the community faster.
A shelter program for individuals and families in the Boston area, who’s mission is to end homelessness in Greater Boston by providing housing in conjunction with effective support services to help change the conditions that create homelessness.
HOMELESS ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATION GUIDE
In order to be eligible for services funded by a McKinney-Vento Supportive Housing Program (SHP) grant, an applicant must meet HUD’s definition of homelessness. This informational guide will help you navigate in this difficult time of your life.

Solutions at Work helps homeless people make the transition to permanent jobs. Current or formerly homeless people "who've been there" and know what it's like also know what it takes to get back into the permanently housed and regulary employed communtiy.
Support services for homeless families
F.O.R. Families is a home visiting program whose primary goal is to help homeless families transition from homelessness to stable permanent housing. Services are free and participation is voluntary. New link 11/19/11
This supportive transitional housing program helps 13 families in the City of Brockton become strongest and more capable family units by nurturing their children and help them become responsible, successful members of our community. The Family Life Center staff helps stabilize those families, which enables them to remain together. The Centers staff also works side by side with mothers to help them maintain family function while supporting them with both emotional and concrete needs.
