NeighborWorks Southern Mass. to offer first-time homebuyer workshops in Quincy
NeighborWorks Southern Mass. will offer two-part workshops for first-time homebuyers in January.
The first part of the course will be taken online; following completion of the online component, participants will attend an in-person class to be held at the Winter Gardens apartment complex (lower level community room), located at 45 Winter St. in Quincy.
In-person workshops will be held on the following dates:
- Saturday, Jan. 7: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 21: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The in-person workshop will give participants an opportunity to meet and hear from real estate brokers, attorneys and loan originators. Attendees also will have an opportunity to learn about NeighborWorks’ down payment assistance programs and speak to a lender about different mortgage options.
The registration fee for the workshop is $20 per person.
